Imagining perfect lovermen: The other day, some of the girls and I got together to describe each other's imaginary perfect lovers. Extremely fun, passes time well, HILARIOUS, and highly recommended. My perfect man, according to Van & Juicebox:
Must be hilarious, musical and/or creative in other ways, able to appreciate beautiful things, a good dresser, smells delectable, has adorable eyes so we can have adorable children with adorable eyes, light skin tone, intelligent but not in the bookish way; but rather culturally aware and witty, easily humoured, has a big smile with bright eyes that sparkle when they fall upon something fascinating (like his lover, i.e. MOI), big warm hands to hold in winter a must.
Those shoes from the latest 3.1 Phillip Lam collection: A wonderful combination of super-hardcore-motorbike-chic and feminine-girlie-lacy-primness. I want them soo bad.

SJP's Dior Couture Dress: she wore this to the the Oscars yesterday. It's so floaty and fairytale-esque, the PERFECT shade of mint, and OMG at all that tulle. Plus the beaded detail on the bustier is immaculate, and I've always had a thing for belted-cinched-waists, so extra points to this dress from me.

Fond Childhood Memories: silly thoughts and concepts, ridiculous plans that never worked out, the eagerness to learn, even though we all thought we knew everything, being able to do comical things for the sake of it, childhood crushes, endless possibilities and limitless dreams. For my 16th this year, I'm making the girls come over to relive our childhoods by forcing them to watch the Disney classics, like Dumbo, Snow White and Sleeping Beauty. I was going to get them to come dressed up as birds as well, but I thought that might've been going too far. I'm excited!

Crossing things off my to do list: anyone who has any classes with me would know that I carry around a huge blue diary resembling a bible. But rest assured that it is not a bible. Nope, it's just filled, with to do lists for every single day. I write down everything: when I need to blog, when I should go buy those pair of shoes I've been looking for, when I should watch Gossip Girl, when my favourite designers are showing at Fashion Week, and homework (of course). Being able to cross off things (especially the homework) has a profound calming effect on me.
