I died a bit inside when I woke up and found out Alexander Mcqueen, the 'l'enfant terrible' of fashion and one of my favourite all-time designers, had died. He was an amazing artist as well as a fashion designer, and was probably the most daring and ballsy one around.
The economic recession couldn't dampen the drama and humour infused in his shows. His collections were inspired, and there was always a story or message behind them, and his clothes, though not necessarily conventionally beautiful, had a poignant hardness, or harshness about them.
