Black Leather Jackets: Yup or Nup?

I have always thought that leather jackets were uncool, strictly for 40 year old rockstar-retirees and bikies. But ever since I did work experience at Lisa Ho, and noticed that all the people working there showed up on Monday wearing black leather jackets, I figured that it must be some new trend happening.

It was confirmed when I saw the number of black leather jackets going down the runway for NYFW:
