Hidden Gems
After reaching the realisation that I couldn't find anything in my bookmarked pages, due to the extremely high amount of pages I have bookmarked (a little over 400...), I decided to do a little spring cleaning. Here are a few hidden gems in the little corners of the internet I've found:
The Gossip Girl Closet: It is amazing. I found it last night, and couldn't believe my eyes. The website documents all the outfits worn by Serena, Blair, and other female characters on Gossip Girl, and provides identification for all of the separate pieces. Before I found this website, I often visited gossipgirlfashion.com, but that website has stopped updating long ago, and the image quality and information is wayyy inferior.
Killer Vogue: This is an absolutely amaaaaazing shoot from Vogue Italia. You have to click it.
Madaboochoo.com: An Australian online clothing store that sells some of my favourite Australian labels.
The Fashion Spot: If you love Vogue Forums, then you'll love this place. The members seem to know things before everyone else does (E.G. models for campaigns), and the forum discusses everything from the latest runway shows, to street style. The Fashion Spot has also been highly praised on Coco Rocha's blog which you might also want to visit for an insight into a model's life.
Peachypan.com: I think Jessica introduced me to this place. It's extremely cute, I love the design of the place, and the graphics are adoorable.
Tales of the Unexpected: Another fashion shoot from UK Vogue. The whole shoot is inspired by quotes out of Roald Dahl's books, and features British icons, including Gareth Pugh and Tim Burton.
Beauty and the Beast: Fashion shoot photographed by Annie Leibovitz (love love her). The shoot tells the story of Beauty and the Beast, and features Drew Barrymore in amazing couture.
Rose and Ruby: An Australian label that makes amaaaaaazing romantic feminine pieces. The website is equally amazing. I love the illustrations, the colours, everything everything about the website.
How to Cultivate Your Own Personal Style: Lovely post from Gala Darling, highly inspirational, read it.
The Jacky Winter Group: Its a website that represents a group of Australian illustrators of all different styles.
